NBC 50th Anniversary 2027 Calendar

New calendar for 2027

Newport Boat Club has been making memories with its members for 50 years. What a year of celebration this has been. The year started with the launch of our very first calendar, which was made up of winning photographs from a competition across various categories and judged by Shaun Lowde, a renowned photographer and digital content artist, and Kate Dunwell, a photographic artist.

The overarching aim of the photographic competition was to capture the club, landscape and community in images that explored all aspects of this special place.  The categories were purposely broad and diverse to encourage photographers to investigate the environment and to express their own perceptions.

With the year of celebration nearly at its end, the 50th Anniversary committee thought it fitting to finish the year with a further selection of members photographs, that continue to tell the story of the club across the seasons. We hope that you enjoy these as much as we did. Here’s to the next 50 years!

With our best wishes

The 50th Anniversary team

Jo Bowen, Michael Brake, Clare Evans, Ian and Lesley Fudge, Hal Grim, Mair Searle, Ed Will and Charlotte Williamson
